1. SEA FREIGHT IMPORT SHIPMENTS: 10 days of free time is allowed by the concerned authorities to custom clear and pullout the Sea freight shipments. Thereafter, Demurrage @ SR20/- per day per ton is applicable. If all documents are in order, it takes maximum 4 working days to custom clear a Sea freight shipment.
   
   
2. AIR FREIGHT IMPORT SHIPMENTS: Normally custom cleared within 2 working days from the date of arrival.

.......For both Sea and Air import shipments, following documents are required:

1. Original Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
2. Original Commercial Invoice duly attested from the Chamber of Commerce in the country of origin. Certificate of Origin duly attested from the Chamber of Commerce in the country of origin.
3. Packing List
4. SASO (Saudi Arabian Standards Organization) Certificate (wherever applicable).
5. Authorization Letter from the Consignee in Arabic in favor of the Custom Broker, duly attested from the Chamber of Commerce.
6. Copy of the C.R. (Commercial Registration) of the Consignee.
7. Authorization to Import (wherever applicable)
   
   Documentation Import:
   For Sea export shipments:

1. Commercial Invoice.
2. Certificate of Origin (for Saudi products)
3. Arabic Packing List duly attested from the Chamber of Commerce.
4. Packing List
